The LEAF is growing a fan base faster than a supermodel on Facebook as it gets closer to world domination, er I mean production. Today the world’s largest rental car company, Hertz Corp., announced plans to spread the LEAF through its worldwide rental fleets. Soon we will be able to rent a LEAF to blow through all our tourist destinations, making sure that we are environmentally friendly even in a foreign country! The Chicago Tribune totally missed the connection between Hertz and the LEAF being an electric vehicle although technically Hertz is a measurement of electrical frequency I’ll allow it!
